Submerging
Posted by Ray @ 6:18 pmI’m submerging for the exam period. Comics go on as usual, but news (such as it is) will mostly halt until May.
…
Yes, you may all sigh in relief now. Sheesh.

Have you guys submitted the comics to a newspaper for publishing or something? Or thought of publishing them? Most of the ones I have seen (maybe 10 out of the 15) are pretty good, though some of them may be a little restricted in their appeal (e.g. only law students will get it). Perhaps you guys can make use of current affairs, to wide the appeal of the strips. Like something on the whole Gays = AIDS thing, same sex marriages, feeding tubes, haze, etc etc. Strips about a particular theme like rejection, chio bus, breakups will wear their appeal thin quickly. Just a thought :)

1) Publishing: it’s an idea that we’re definitely open to. We shall see.
2) Current affairs: yes. But keep in mind the time lag; we do 2 strips/week - there’s simply too many dumb things going on to satirize.
3) Girls: we just tell it like it is, man =P.
