David Eddings Burns Down Home
Posted by Ray @ 12:12 am
This article had me in peals of laughter. I’ve never liked David Eddings’ books, his writing tends to be peurile with little or no conflict or character interaction. While I realize I shouldn’t be making fun of him in this way, this snippet is sure to make you laugh, too:
Fantasy writer David Eddings, 75, said he was using water to flush out the gas tank of his broken-down Excalibur sports car, when some fluid leaked. In a lapse of judgment he readily admitted, Eddings lit a piece of paper and threw into the puddle to test if it was still flammable. The answer came in an orange torrent.
At the very least, this warrants an honourable mention in the Darwin Awards.
